The short version

Learn Croatian does not collect personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.

What we collect

The app does not require you to create an account. Your learning progress is stored locally on your device. The only information we receive from Apple or Google is an anonymous purchase receipt confirming your subscription status — this receipt does not include your name, email address, or payment details. We do not include analytics or advertising SDKs.

Subscriptions

Learn Croatian offers an optional subscription that unlocks premium content. Subscriptions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment information is never transmitted to or stored by us. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google account settings. We do not offer refunds directly — refund requests must be made through Apple or Google.

How we use what we receive

The anonymous purchase receipt is used solely to verify that a valid subscription is active so we can unlock the corresponding content in the app. It is not stored on any server we control beyond the duration of the active session.

Third-party services

Subscription billing is handled by Apple and Google. Their own privacy policies govern the data they collect during that process. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or practices of those services.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal information, the app is safe for users of any age in that respect. Parents can disable in-app purchases and subscriptions through their device's parental controls.

Data retention and deletion

Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete upon request. All local app data (progress, settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
